Serrant – Web Development was setup by myself, Liam Serrant after graduating from the University of Bradford with a BSc in Computing I decided to put what I learnt into practice.

After graduating I had learned a lot more about web design and web development. That’s when I decided to put those extra skills and knowledge into better use, and to challenge myself to develop quality sites.

I started building websites for individuals, personal blogs and small businesses. I use XHTML, CSS and the latest Web Standards to build all my websites. I can also use WordPress, Expression Engine, Magento, Drupal, Zen Cart and Joomla.

I am based in Bradford, West Yorkshire and run the business from my office in my home. I am able to keep my prices low and compete with other larger web design companies that have larger overheads.

I love using WordPress because it is a very flexiable CMS system, which makes it ideal for any type of websites you require.  With a little tweeking here and there you can produce some awesome sites.

I have recently been testing and playing around with Expression Engine to see what it is capable of doing.  Having testing the older version of the CMS system, i recently began testing the newer v2.0 version.  The newer version is extremely powerly, is great for use on larger heavy content sites.
